sheet film

Film cut into flat sheets and loaded a sheet at a time, rather than wound on a spool or sealed in a cartridge. This term says how the film is carried and not how big it is: a 4x5 sheet does not go in an 8x10 camera, so the sizes are their own terms where a source gives them. Most sources give none, and say only that the film was sold in sheets, which is what this says.
